Treasurer

Michele Gregorio
I’ve lived in Connecticut my entire life, proudly rooted in our community as a dedicated Republican with a passion for public service. I’ve served as town chairman twice Board of Finance, where I was appointed and served three terms. I’m a proud member of the CCDL and a former officer in the CTRA’s New Haven Chapter. Currently, I serve as treasurer for a statewide campaigns and consult for businesses, non-profits, and political organizations.
On a personal note, I’ve been widowed for a decade and am blessed with five children and ten grandchildren. My professional background includes degrees from New York University in Health Care Policy and Planning and in Business with a focus on accounting. I retired as Controller of the Lighter Division at BIC Corporation, having also worked as a CFO, Controller, Cost Accountant, Trainer, and Union Negotiator in New York City and Connecticut. In the ‘1980s and 1990s, I owned and operated two small businesses. Beyond my career, I’ve volunteered with Green Fur Kidz (animal rescue), Special Olympics, Boys and Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts (as a cub pack leader), and my local church as a CCD instructor. For fun, I spent years playing in cover bands and singing in local choirs.
My goal for our town is clear: to protect our cash and investment assets, work responsibly with town government to ensure obligations are met promptly and accurately, report transparently on our financial position, and support our departments under the First Selectman’s leadership.
